Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I try lots of foundations mainly Max Factor but received a 10 day sample of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.  It was so good I went out and purchased a full size bottle and it's now my first choice for Foundation.

Firstly they have an amazing array of colours so make sure you go along to an Estee Lauder counter to get your shade correctly matched. Ask them for a 10 day sample to try at home. You will get a small vial and think to yourself, 'this will only last a couple of days' - believe me it really does last 10 days, a little goes a long way.

So why do I love it so much?

The coverage is fantastic, it has an SPF 10 to protect my skin, it makes my skin look flawless and it has a lovely soft satin look to it, but the biggest reason for it being my No.1 foundation is because it really does last all day with out any touch ups! Estee Lauder claim it has 15 hours wear- stay in place and it certainly lives up to it's name.

It is quite a thick liquid, so I shake the bottle then dip my foundation brush into the bottle lid, then blend, blend blend, and keep doing this. Occasionally I use a bit more from the bottle but generally the lid contains enough. The cost of this foundation is £31 for 30ml but I really think it's money well spent as it's going to last ages.

Insta Natural Vitamin C Serum

A Product I can't live without!

My NUMBER ONE facial serum has had an uplift - the same as this wonderful serum has done to my face!

We all have that holy grail product that we can't live without, and this is mine. I use it every morning before my primer and make up, and my face just glows with radiance. (My face looks younger than my 51 years too!) It comes in a 30ml bottle at a bargain price of just £17.79 (July 2016 Amazon .co.uk). You only need a couple of drops to smooth over your face so it lasts a long time.

The bottle is opaque to maintain the level of Vitamin C and the smell is just gorgeous. It is also free of harmful ingredients such as SLS, SLES, Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, Artifical Dyes etc.

Many, many years ago I watched a series with Lowri Turner called "Looking Good". The male make-up artist on the show once cut an apple in half and applied a Vitamin C cream to half of it and left the other half bear. Within a short space of time the bear half an apple had browned but the Vitamin C cream covered half still looked perfect. The make-up artist said back then that Vitamin C creams were essential for the face, something I took on board back then and now always use this fabulous serum.

It is suitable for ALL skin types and for me it certainly seems to hold back the aging process.

The Organic Pharmacy Marigold & Comfrey Hand Cream

Don't we all love a bit of hand cream? Well this one's a real treat. It contains Aloe, Shea butter and Calendula for soft, silky hands and boy does it deliver!

It's currently priced at £21.95 for 50ml (July 2016) but worth every penny. When you buy good quality products you only need a small amount and therefore your investment in yourself lasts a long time.

The first thing I noticed with this Hand Cream is the beautiful scent, it makes me want to use it just for the scent alone, but it also absorbs easily and is none sticky. A very small amount goes a long way. My hands do indeed feel so beautifully soft and silky and what's better is the effect lasts a long time so you don't need to keep reapplying the hand cream.

It's definately my favourite at the moment and you won't be dissappointed if you indulge and treat yourself. As always I have provided a link below for you.
